…doesn’t exist. Yet.
But I know it will soon, and I envy that editor who gets to create the book with her. I just absolutely adore CakeSpy Jessie Oleson’s whimsical writing, artwork, and baking experiments–and so does Gourmet, CNN, and just about all of Seattle’s top media & blogs. Whether Jessie creates a cookbook on her own or she pairs with another foodie friend, I know I’ve wanted her book on my shelf since I met her at the Williamsburg Renegade Fair in June 2009 and bought copies of some of her book & library related notecards, including multiples of this one for book world friends:
I can’t wait to make my first visit to Seattle to visit Jessie’s CakeSpy shop. Meanwhile follow her on twitter @cakespy, and check out her column on Serious Eats to create Jessie’s “Thanksgiving Cake Made of Real Turkey! And Leftovers.“

I would so buy a Cakespy book
I could not agree more!
Jennifer, this is one of the nicest things anyone has ever written about me and my work. Well if this book happens my mom promises to buy at least 10 copies at FULL RETAIL PRICE and you’ll be in the acknowledgments. Xoxo.
[...] Congratulations to Jessie Oleson who was featured today in the The Seattle Times. I posted about her work & the book deal that I think some very smart editor should offer her on November 24th. [...]
